If the soundtrack is awesome, it can turn a horrible movie into a fine movie but anyway I'd prefer to buy the soundtrack.

I have found (and this goes for a lot of things) that when you have a bad something with a good something, it's the good something that suffers, not the bad something that improves.

I would never bother my eyes with the yearnings of my ears.

Since I'm less and less interested in cinema, I wouldn't even go and see a good movie with a soundtrack from one of my favourite group/musicians.

Tristan et Iseult
With the soundtrack by Christian Vander...
Erm... probably not. I've heard it's terrible.

...a movie that you think will be horrible if a favorite band of yours did the soundtrack? I'm about to have to make this very choice when Jonah Hex (scored by Mastodon) opens tomorrow. I can't imagine sitting through this movie...but it might be fun to listen to it!
