Hmmm, jazzrock and prog metal both said no to them, The heavy team, from what I understand, said no as well - and wanted the metal team to have a second go. But don't think they ever let the metal team know about it.

A rather common tale for artists that doesn't strictly adhere to the Progarchives way of cataloguing music I'm afraid.

If I understand it correctly, Prog Metal and Jazz Rock/Fusion teams rejected them. Not sure which ones wants move. Heavy Prog is evaluating right now and Eclectic Prog isn't so active at the moment.

There is not ProgFreak entry ?

Listening again... and I'm asking myself why I sent this to the JRF team  It's a clear case of metal-fusion, they'd sit perfectly near MCM, whose description fits this band perfectly: They're in the same vein as bands like PLANET X or LIQUID TENSION EXPERIMENT, instrumental technical progressive metal with touches of fusion, throwing in lots of genres such as latin and funk and truly exploring new, progressive territory.

I'll alert the PMT.

I like the name though. It sounds proggy.

@JLocke: yeap I know, the JRF team's degree of tolerance for non-"pure" material has varied a lot and is still varying, I could never say what they're going to accept and what not, in the post you quoted I was just taking a guess, not writing down a verdict.

@Slava: if you want I can give them another listen and try with another team that I would find suitable.

What I found now on JRF thread John's opinion was they could fit "heavy prog, eclectic, or possibly something in a metal flavor". No more info...

What about being respectful to the people who work here? If you don't like the site's addition policies, there are different ways to point things out.

Anyway, I've got both the band's full-length album and their debut EP, though I have only heard the former. They didn't strike me as JR/F, but they definitely deserve a spot here. Having built a network of contacts with prog artists in the past few months, I can tell you one thing: letting bands linger in limbo for months, if not years, is hurting PA's reputation. For those people, any exposure they can get is vital, especially as regards reviews.

Not everything. Some bands still fall in between the genres. I meant that they are a little bit of Neo and a little bit of Crossover, with Eclectic as my conclusion.
