Hi, welcome to Proarchives!

Sorry I cannot help or cooperate with you (too far from your nation) but hope you can do good works and show your play here.

Good luck!

Hi

Long time lurker, first time poster here! I've started up a new prog/jazz-rock band, and need a keyboard player to bring the team up to full strength. Let me know if you're interested or know someone who might be.

We're called Dig?, we're based in London, UK. We do tight but loose covers of material originally by the likes of (among others) 70s Genesis, Miles Davis, King Crimson, Brand X, Weather Report, Jeff Beck, Billy Cobham, Santana, Brubeck, Jethro Tull - and maybe move on to do original material. It's not a tribute act, more a covers band looking to put their own stamp on some exciting and challenging tunes: some will need a faithful reading of the original, others more open to interpretation. The present line-up consists of bass, drums, guitar, sax/flute; as well as keyboards, I'm also on the lookout for a percussionist.

Interested? Hopefully you're competent, reliable, enthusiastic, good fun. You'll be familiar with some or most or all of the above artists; you'll have your own good quality gear and independent transport. Rehearsals will be once every week or two.

Get in touch if you want to find out more - drop us a line at [email protected], tell us a bit about what you've done and if possible please include links to youtube, myspace or other resources where we can have a look and/or listen. Likewise I've got a handful of rehearsal clips I can send out, as well as our current and intended song choices.

Thanks!

Dig? The Band
