Yes, the Flower Kings are quite famous down here in Sweden. LOL
Unfortunately I still can't rank any of their modern time epics on the same level as any of my top 10 picks.

Great choice of epics!

Supper's
Close
Tarkus
Grendel (very similar in part to Supper's)

I remember a time were i was seduce by a cd that has a epic in it. I always said to myself, that cd should be good.

Flower Kings have done a few good ones in the modern era.

For the lyrics, it's between #1 Supper's Ready and #2 Thick as a Brick
For the music, it's between #1 Close to the Edge and  #2 Thick as a Brick
I say the nod goes to Thick as a Brick
Cool

I love all of those songs almost equally, but I felt that In Held Twas In I is the most underappreciated on this list with less than 3% of the vote, so I voted for that.

Close To The Edge is just sublime! Although if you'd given me a KarnEvil 9 option instead of Tarkus I'd have gone for that 'cause it is the most epic of prog epics in my opinion.
