That would be pretty awesome, sleeper.
If I had to get one, I would get the Tool-Lateralus eye (the floating eyeball in the fireball) tattooed on each of my palms. But that would hurt like none other. Which is why I would probably never get a tattoo anywhere. I saw a guy at the BTBAM concert that had the Colors album cover tattooed on his back. |

Ansens was self made, judging by the pictures he posted in the VR I wouldnt recommend it. I would love to get the demon and angel used on the two Cynic albums tattooed on my arms. |

I would love to get a tattoo, but every time I think of something I would like, I make myself wait a year and see if I still want it, and I get doubts and drop the idea. ¬_¬ I've seen a couple of Trick of the Tail tattoos which looked great. Current idea is with my two bes'frens to have Get / It / On between us cos Get it On is a binding song in our frenship. So I bagged 'it' for the Genesis ref but I haven't figured out where/how and will probably never get it. (Ha, they'll be stuck with just "Get On" for eternity, which would be meaningless except if they get employed by a public transport company to urge people to climb into the vehicle. On second thought, I wouldn't mind that job. I could have "Get", and if I fell out with my friends, I could always look for some others who were willing to get "Em/Out/By/Friday"...)
Edit: Just read the post above, a Magma tattoo would be amazing :D Edited by happythe - March 08 2010 at 06:59 |

Only kind of tattoo I'd EVER consider is one of those semi permanent ones. (although a lot can still go wrong, even with those) I would get myself one of those red and black stars that Rage Against the Machine use as a logo on my left arm. This is because I am a rock fan not just into prog. My neighbour has a prog tattoo however. He's got the crossed hammers symbol for Pink Floyd on his arm.

I'd agree with you but you have Marmite for your avatar. And I have a tattoo.

nah... that is what I wanted.. but the tattoo dude said 'who is the hell is Jon Anderson?' so I figured he wouldn't do it justice so I just settled for a heart on my bicep with Tony R's name on it |

Mike Portnoy has a bunch of them. I, on the other hand, have none.

I would rather stick needles in my eyeballs than have a tattoo.
I detest them (and body piercing likewise). You hit the nail on the head when you say that tastes change - if they do, you're stuck with a tattoo. |

Please show off you prog rock tattoos! I've been thinking a lot about getting a tattoo of the sun/moon off of King Crimson's Larks' Tongues in Aspic Part II in between my shoulder blades (Mike Portnoy had this done, just on his left arm). If you have any kind of tattoo- do you regret getting it? I highly doubt I will ever lose my taste for King Crimson in the future, but tastes change.
