Just want to say that I had an incredible time at the July 3rd/ Molson ampitheater show in Toronto.
Really one of the very best concerts I've ever been too. Loved it.

going to the Holmdel, NJ show at PNC Bank Arts Center tonight, anyone else going? i might be in an Octavarium tour shirt for DT and at least definitely a Fear of the Dark shirt for Maiden (because i cant find my Powerslave shirt)

Indeed they are! But it doesn't look like I'll be seeing them on this tour. No dates in Taxachusetts!  I've seen Maiden five times, DT once, and John Petrucci with G-3 once. Maiden is more explosive but DT is much more intricate. They just bring different things to the table, they're both legends.

hell yeah... the second for me... and yeah.. the supporting act suffers in comparison to the last time we saw them. Motorhead and Mastodon? Dream Theater? oh well...

Huh, I could care less about seeing Iron Maiden, on the other hand, I haven't seen Dream Theater since the Images and Words tour. I think my wife would love to see Iron Maiden . . . this will have to be considered. Probably depends on the price.

I don't like enough Iron Maiden to attend to this show. No worth spending money for 1 hour of Dream Theater. Maybe a hour of IM and 2 hours of DT would had made a difference for me.

a losfer words jam with both bands would be so awesome, especially with extended solos and dueling solos.
This is a show I will definitely need to attend, I wonder if my mind can handle it.
