I've heard some stuff beside Relationship Of Command, which I own. It's way different than The Mars Volta. Cedric actually sings in The Mrs Volta. In ATD-I he usually talks, raps, or screams, with occasional actual singing. They were very unique. I first heard them when they were starting to get popular (with the song "One Armed Scissor") and I thought they were different, but decent anyway. The Mars Volta coming together was the best thing that Cedric and Omar ever did. TMV kick ass a hundred times better than ATD-I ever did. The other former members of ATD-I moved on as a band called Sparta. I don't really care for them very much. I wonder if that anthology's coming out here in the US tomorrow.

At the Drive In, famous for being the prelude band to The Mars Volta, are re-issuing thier albums.
An anthology is out on may 24th (tomorrow) that includes music videos, live performances unreleased tracks and the best tracks including the amazing intecardis and a cover of pink floyds take up thy stethoscope and walk! Exciting!
I love this band, any other fans out there?
