Thanks, guys! I appreciate the kind words. I believe I have quite a bit to live up to when crafting a new album.

I think this is Casualties of Applied Metaphysics's best work so far.
Standout for me tracks are "Operation," "Henry the Hexapus," and "Year Without a Summer."
"Henry the Hexapus" has a cool groove to it I really dug.
That last one is your most beautiful creation, and even my wife liked it!

Downloaded, listening now...pretty good stuff so far.
BTW...if you are interested in a future guest on guitar...listen to my little afternoon in the studio on the musician's exchange. It's not really music but you'll know if I'm worth anything to ya.

Awesome, glad you liked it. If I ever come to that point, I'll let you know. Thanks for the offer.

You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

Now you've gone and changed it! Makes me sad. |
It made Winona pretty sad too, but I don't care.

Bump.
Even though part of this discussion has bled over into the SR and other locations, I welcome all feedback and discussions here as well---and am bumping it in case some people didn't see this.

I appreciate the offer, but for sake of simplicity CoAM is a person-to-person entity. If I ever desire a guest musician, I'll holler for it.

I prefer the cover of Ex Enema. Also, when I clicked the title of the thread I thought this would be some kind of an online forture teller, and now I'm so disappointed that I refuse to listen to the album today.

I don't have time to listen to it now, but I will say the cover is much nicer than your other ones. |
Thanks for pointing that out!

Well, I must say, this is the first album by you I can honestly say I enjoyed non-stop, from start to finish. Some moments I liked better than others, but all in all, it's a wonderful, dark album. Just as weird and unusual as your first two works, but much better in pretty much every respect. The more traditional songs that could actually be called conventional 'music' will hopefully add more appeal to this one.
I think my favorite tracks are 'Operation', 'Snapshot' and 'Year Without A Summer'. Your piano playing on 'YWAS' is simple, melodic and beautiful. Very well done, man. I must admit, I didn't quite know what to expect going in to this, but I think you did a really good job with this one. |
Thanks! I appreciate the feedback, as always. I do agree with you; I feel that both of us have really set the bar to a great standard with this one. I am so happy to have it released.
