Topic: what is yore favurite winter sport (to watch on TV Posted: January 02 2010 at 16:14 |
I voted ice hockey, but enjoy watching several of the Olympic events. I can even get convinced to watch figure skating come Olympic time. I have a hard time watching curling though.

I voted for speed skating. I don't have anything with sports or watching sports at all, but speed skating is something I kind of enjoy watching. Also it's quite a big thing in the Netherlands, while something like ice hockey has no popularity here whatsoever.

Snowcross has a huge element of coolness, but I went with hockey.

I voted for ski jumping and the biathlon. I love the way they just float on the air in ski jumping and the biathlon may be the event with the most practical real-life application (in case you come across a bear or something) Thank God I live in Colorado where I can go skiing anytime.

Ice Hockey is my favourite sport, period. Ski jumping is cool too, I like to watch that.

I like curling, hockey and alpine skying, but my favourite is ski jumping. I was an avid follower of the Four Hills Tournament when I had a TV. The rest are pretty much boring to me.
Where are the Winter Olympics being held this time? Russia, if I remember well?

We don't get much curling here on TV in the USA.

since it is the Winter Olympics this year, then I thought it was on the righ spot to have a a poll on what winter sports you prefer to watch (or practice). and I will allow MULTIPLE VOTES so you can pick more then just one favourite.
