Amsterdam is good for me! Why not organize a meeting in the "Pink floyd" coffee shop? |

Anywhere between Amsterdam and Paris would suit me fine , this should acomodate most western Europeans , however on Finnish friends might just feel left out!! As for our Slavian friends how does Prague feel? as for the new World I would propose Montreal or Toronto as there are many eastern central canadians on this site as well as a few atlantic US citizens. Then Lima, Peru for our Latin America friends and Singapour for the Far East. Organixe a huge video conference between the four sites. |

I propose Amsterdam, ideally in the third week of November.

What about this project?
I still want to organize a battle between "real" prog fans and neo prog /metal fans. |

This Breughel shows with uncanny precision what fate befell Radioactive Toy's joke and what the general reaction to it was. |

Great idea! Lets start putting some ideas together.
For the US, I would suggest somewhere in the midwest, like... Illinois, Kentucky, Ohio, Missouri... something like that. If it were to happen, I think it should happen near the end of the summer, you know, sometime in August. If we were seriously going to do this, we'd have to get a committee together to organize it, and it would require some serious hors of organizing. We need to advertise, rent out some sort of venue, raise money for the endeavor, and maybe try to get some home-grown acts together to play. I would be more than happy to lead such a committee. Clearly, if we we're going to organize such an event, we'd need to reach out to the prog community as a whole... you know, get other prog websites and record labels involved. If anybody has any ideas, contact me at [email protected]. |
