Just voted twice for AiC and once for Mother Love Bone Someone already voted 40 times for Soundgarden so they didn't need more votes. They kill too though!

I just checked out Screaming Trees, and they're very decent. There's just nothing there that can compete with even middle of the road Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, or Nirvana in terms of variance and memorability.
I love Nirvana. Pearl Jam and Soundgarden are a close second though.
And LOL at Hole. Silly Courtney Love.
Wait, I just saw SP on there. They are the only band to have more songs on my iTunes than the Beatles. GO SMASHING PUMPKINS! Can't wait for the rest of Teargarden to be released (though it may take a very long time at the rate Billy's releasing it).

I voted for Screaming Trees. Their album Dust, in particular, is one of my all-time favourites. I seem to recall reading that they didn't really consider themselves part of the grunge scene but got associated by virtue of being a Seattle band. Certainly, something grabbed me about this band even though I wasn't really a fan of grunge in general. They had a kind of hard rock meets psychedelia sort of sound that I found appealing.

Blind Melon grunge? I guess not but voting for them. but they were of the era.. and did look great in flannel. Just like me Great music.. great group... and one classic album that sets them above their peers
Soup... voted on by some rock conessours as THE best rock album of the 90's. Those that didn't vote for it... still say 'Soup is one of the most underrated and overlooked great rock albums of the '90s'.
