Sylvan at Leamington Spa 12th December (pictures)

AWESOME.

I know these are a little late  but I finally got round to processing my photographs of Sylvan from their gig supporting Pendragon at the "Christmad" gig at the Leamingotn Spa Assembly on the 12th December.  Here's a selection of photographs from the set.

This was my first Sylvan gig and I must say I was very impressed.  I have several of their albums and like them a lot; I thought the live performance was very true to the original sound and they had loads of energy on stage.  Very impressive and well worth seeing if you get the chance (this was their only UK gig in 2009)

For those that haven't been The Assembly is an impressive new UK venue in Leamington Spa.  It has great acoustics and light show and has hosted some pretty impressive shows this year.  The sound out front is pretty good, though I have noticed a number of bands struggling with the monitoring on occasion - so they need to sort that aspect out.
