Topic: Xbox 360 vs PS3 Posted: November 05 2009 at 04:34 |
PS3 - Metal Gear Solid 4 is the single biggest triumph in gaming production values... Ever.
I don't have an Xbox 360, although I've probably spent about 80% of the same time playing my cousin's at his house.
Seriously though, the PS3 is amazing. I use it for playing music more than anything, and it has an amazing DVD upscaler. My dad's been using it for Yes DVD's and the like recently, and he's considering buying another one for the other TV just for the picture and sound output.
Match that up with Bluray, free online and the new 120GB model which costs the same as the middle level 360, pretty sure you've got your winner.

PS1 was the best in my opinion. Nowadays games have tremendous graphics but they are more of the same. I used to play video games a lot when I was between 6-17 years old , but I rarely play now. Sometimes I wonder If I should buy a newer console but somehow music always comes first.
Is there any gamers thread open besides the What are you playing now ? thread

Good thing I'm a boy...at least there's something to play with...

PS3 right now, simply because it's the one I have the most games for.
360 has better exclusive downloadable content, better online features, etc. PS3 has better exclusive store-bought titles, free online service, and plays Blu-Ray videos.
Both are great, though! I can't wait for Perfect Dark HD in december!!!

Of those listed, Xbox 360. I have and still play N64, Dreamcast, Super Nintendo, PS1, Nintendo DS, and my personal favorite gaming platform, my PC.

I prefer Xbox 360.
I do have my old Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Playstation 2, and Sega Dreamcast which still work but are collecting dust right now.

Living on a lighted stage
Approaches the unreal
For those who think and feel
In touch with some reality
Beyond the gilded cage!
