RE: Part 2.
I had streaming issues with this show unfortunately, so I only heard some of the tunes during the stalls - sounded good though... The Archive has part 2 listed but there appears to be something wrong with the upload. I tried both real time listening and the download link but the file just doesn't want to play... Anyone else having problems? TronFlutes |

Hey Gary,
Thanks for compiling such an interesting cross-section of mellotronic audio seasonings. I thoroughly enjoyed what I heard and it was very cool of you to pick some obscure tunes and avoid the well-known 'Tron staples as well. I only caught the first half of part-1 before having to run out - Is it going to be added to the KSKQ archives anytime soon? Looking forward to the next parts, Keep your 'tron mello dude ![]() GW from Canada |

Howdy folks!
I don't post here often, but wanted to let people know I am doing a 3-part MELLOTRON themed radio show on Thursday, October 9th, November 5th and November 12th. My radio show, The Interdimensional Vortex, is on 5-7pm PST (8-10pm EST, 1-3am UK) Thursday nights and can be heard by going to www.kskq.org and clicking on "Listen Live - Now!" - it might be good to go there in advance to make sure you can get the stream, although most people have no problems with it. My show generally consists of 70's prog, late 60's psychedelia and other assorted audio goodies. These three weeks will consist ENTIRELY of mellotron-soaked tracks, including many classics as well as lesser known groups/songs. I've been wanting to do this show for a very long time, and finally got the time to put it together! I hope everyone can listen in to what will be some meagalithic mellotron mania! Sincerely, Gary Bearman (aka Goober or "The Space Dork") ![]() |
