I love this DVD, real high quality. Bass drum sounds really nice, you get thast 'feel the air particles move,' sound.

^ No not really. They have a core set of songs they do no matter the show Point, Miracles, SFA, Carry On, Icarus and Dust. Then they rotate others sometimes every other year sometimes as much as five years. There are many different ones on this from DVD such as Musicatto, Ghosts/Rainmaker, Hold On, On the Other Side, Nobody's Home.
On top of that this has David Ragsdale, Steve Morse and Kerry Livgren on it plus an symphony orchestra something else DVD didn't have. There is also a bonus track that has all tree guitarists trading chops at the Rehearsal the day before. On top of that Kerry Livgren plays the intro to Incomudru on a pipe organ and that is the music you get on your main menu. He also plays it on The Wall.
Oh and I think this may be the only live compilation that plays at least one song from every album. Edited by Garion81 - October 26 2009 at 14:09 |

Press Release / Kansas delivers unforgettable live performances! Evidenced nowhere better than on their current DVD release, 'There's Know Place Like Home' debuts at #5 on the Billboard DVD top sales chart. Featuring guest appearances by former members Kerry Livgren and Steve Morse, spectacular lighting, and songs previously not recorded with a symphony, this unique concert has been captured in High Definition video and Surround Sound audio. Released October 13th, TKPLH has already become the highest-charting Kansas DVD of all-time and the #1 selling DVD for RED distribution this week.
Pretty good news for the band. Congratulations. Edited by Garion81 - October 24 2009 at 11:29 |
