I think these types of introspective tests into the subconcsious are all hogwash IF taken the wrong way.
Above me, Equality does an excellent job of summing up my thoughts on the matter. These results may be surprising, but they in no way really reflect who you really are.

1) This was meant to be entertaining. No reason to take it so seriously.

I think the test is quite accurate. At first at had some issue that the order of the word choices could influence ones selection. However, the specifications say that the choices are randomized with some bias to eliminate undesirably long runs.

Could I ask the objections to the testing procedures?

There is a chapter on this on Malcolm Gladwell's book Blink.
I agree with Henry, that the test totally tricks your brain into picking the "racist" answers.

I think get no errors and do it instantly would prove that you're not racist because you don't have subconscious biases preventing you from quickly making the association between black people and good.

So basically all I have to do is get lots of errors and take a long time and I'm not racist, or something to that effect?

It felt a little set up to me too, which is why I gave up pretty quickly. How does it grade your performance? Based on errors?

I never liked these tests. To me it seemed like they were just putting evil on the left and good on the right, then putting black on the left and white on the right, and then switching them after you've built an association and going "Aha! You're secretly racist!"

I tried the skin tone test but all I did was press e and i rapidly and it said I had to many errors. :(

moderate preference for young over old
slight preference for straight over gay
slight positive inclination towards Islam & Buddhism, neutral in Judaism and very negative in christian.
 
couldn't be arsed to do any more.

- I show a  more positive implicit preference for budhism and judaism (?!), little lower for christianity, and negative for Islam (quite accurate this last one - no need to uncover my unconscious for that).
- moderate automatic preference for european american vs african american

  • I show a slight automatic preference for Light Skin compared to Dark Skin.
  • I show a slight automatic preference for Straight People compared to Gay People.
  • On the Implicit Preference Scale for Religion: positive for Buddhism, rather neutral for Christianity & Judaism, negative for Islam.
  • I show little to no automatic preference between Young and Old.
  • I show little or no association between Female and Male with Career and Family.
Unconvinced the age result reflects me.

This is a project by some psychologists at Harvard to uncover people's subconscious biases and associations with certain groups. 

You can take some tests and find out for yourself here: http://implicit.harvard.edu/implicit/demo/takeatest.html

Each one only takes a few mins and they're pretty fun.

From the ones I've taken: 

  • I show a strong automatic preference for young compared to old.
  • I show a slight preference for Barack Obama to Richard Nixon.
  • I show a moderate association for women with liberal arts and men with sciences.
  • I make negative associations with Islam and positive with Christianity, while being neutral toward Judaism and Hinduism.
