I'm listening to the new Flaming Lips album now (courtesy of their Myspace page), I'm liking it more than I've liked what I've heard of their older albums so far.

On topic:
Hazards of Love 4 - The Decemberists
Escape Control Delete - Gong
Meressä Ei Asuta - Alamaailman Vasarat
Barbares - Nemo

A ton of awesome ones here that I like, but I'll add one the only one that hasn't been mentioned yet:
The Sweetest Curse - Baroness (Blue Record)

If anyone hasn't looked into Baroness's newest album yet, I highly recommend doing so.  It's gonna be one of the best overlooked albums of the year.

All from the Incident:

- Black Dahlia
- Bonnie the Cat
- Blind House
- Time Flies

All from the Skye:

- Oblivion
- The Czar
- the Skye

These two albums are BY FAR the best releases of 2009 for me, and really they're all that came to mind.

Hopefully I'll be loving some new 3 soon too

I'm pretty convinced I will fall in love with the Whirlwind.

In the mean time, Dear Hunter's The Tank would be my number one favorite this year.
