Not to be flip, but this is one of the best damn stories I've ever read on the internet. |
T hanks for the support. There might be some interesting points regarding life and death in this particular case. Obviously, he had read something + was deeply interested in the subject but whatever ritual he was trying to use was so hopelessly screwed up in his mind/interpretation as to be more tragic + stupied than ritualistic, but he was definitely responding to something he had read + believed. Because he was human he could have easily delude himself into believing that his sacrifice would grant him the Philosophers Stone, so to speak, in his sacrifice, but trusting his life to some ritual in a book is pretty delusional & in the end, his act was not a rational one at all.

I don't know what I believe in and that's why I'm afraid of death. And I just know I should try to figure it out in case it happens soon.
Oh, and what's gonna happen to my record collection if I die? How do I know it'll be properly loved as it deserves?

I don't believe the spirit carries on, and yet I don't fear death. But that's only because I'm a badass.

I don't believe in afterlife. And I'm not afraid of death, not even a bit. I'm only afraid of dying. The very moment of losing consciousness. Hence, I prefer a sudden bullet rather than a slow fade-out. Preferably a jealous husband's bullet when I'm 90.
And when I die And when I'm gone There will be one child born in this world to carry on.

Am I afraid of dying? I don't think so. It's hard to fear something that is eventual. I could die in the next five minutes for all I know. I think it's better to just not think about and just keep living rather than fear the inevitable.

I'm sure that thhere's sone sort of existance after death, but I don't fancy the process of dying. I've heard it stings a bit.

Dandelion. Hey I need to think about that.
Yeah, I thought about that and I said, "What the Hell?"
He said, "Nope, you are Earth bound, blow them seeds away
maybe one will make a sound."
