Its a good issue. The Rush article is very good.

I really like the magazine and its nice that Prog has its own magazine to cover what is a resurgant genre.

Enochian Theory's new cd 'Evlution: Creatio Ex Nihilio' is reviewed in this very issue!!!!

Here's what the magazine said...

"Bursting gently out of Portsmouth with their debut album are these modern proggers, Enochian Theory. How they’re perceived is all important to this band but suggesting that they’re style over substance is rather far from the mark.

We might be jaded to tacked on string sections by now but the inclusion of an orchestra is testament to their grand ambition. Enochian Theory have a clear vision of how they want to sound and have achieved it with aplomb. Vocals are as assured during melancholic, emotive numbers like the ambitious three-part album opener, The Dimensionless Monologue, as during larynx-busters like the seething burst of emphatic metal they call Movement and the stuttering, angular rhythms of Apathia. Add the interesting respite afforded by some instrumental interludes and you have a wonderfully balanced album that is as intense as it is relenting.

The fine artwork is reminiscent of the somatic designs previously used by Tool and it’s clear that the Californian pioneers are a major influence on these young Brits but it’s equally clear after hearing this fine debut the south coast trio have the exceptional ability to carve out their own niche – they just need to be given the chance. "

Needless to say, the band are very happy.

It's out here in the UK and is a nicely balanced issue. I thought it'd be mostly heavier bands, but it's got a good range of bands with some in-depth interviews.

Doesn't seem very interesting... Muse and Radiohead as leading prog bands? what the hell? just as if there weren't enough great prog rock/metal acts around...
