Probably because you spend far too much time trolling around this site in the persuit of some vestige of happiness, instead of setting up your own company, selling prog CDs on ebay!

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Any Girl whos cool with listening to Relayer with me is the one!  Also, if she likes  lot of Rush's Caress of Steel and AFTK, or likes Dancing with the Moonlit Knight, darn, "What A Lucky Man I am!"

How absolutely gruesome for you, russellk!  She asked for Prog hey_timj, if I was trying to jump her bones, I'd have lent her Barry White!

Heh -- in twenty years of marriage my wife and I have yet to find ONE
song we both like. She's into easy listening and Country and Western.

Sigh.

that's because neo-prog is distinctly unsexy and detached. too much
reverb on the snare and too many synthesizers. You need to give her
something sensual and deep like Sigur Ros or Talk Talk.
