Sorry, when you posted the suggestion, the HP team was on hiatus due to my personal situation (was waiting to have my Green Card interview, and was understandably anxious about that - my whole future depended on it). After that, I'm afraid the thread slipped to page 2 or 3, and it seems no one else was interested (except the person who wrote that very smart comment... I don't understand why people post on a forum whose main topic they are not interested in).
Anyway, I will take up your suggestion, and have the HP team evaluate it. Omar was added some time ago, and I wrote the bio, so it would be a pleasure for me to see his new project added. |

This is a fairly new project involving Omar,Cedtic & Juan from The Mars Volta,Zach Hill from Hella and a synth bass player named Jonathan Hischke.
They've released there debut Cryptomnesia and have material for a further more two albums. Here is a link to there music.Included in the link is the playlist of the whole album. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5qURHjSxeiY&feature=PlayList&p=A5CD875A6DDC2CA8&index=0&playnext=1 I would like to note for there possible inclusion on the pa.This is not one of Omar Rodriguez Lopez's solo projects and they differ very much from his previous releases with TMV and solo (perhaps due to Zach Hill). In terms of genres heavy prog is almost the obvious choice but this project is certainly more exsperimental, technical and noise like to go under that title imo,but from many listens I would advise math rock for this project. They also have a website though it doesn't include anything of use except the order of the album http://www.elgruponuevo.com/ If you need anything else just ask I'm a huge Omar fan boy.
