Man... I find most of those songs annoying but I do not like electronic music in general and I dont like listening to it but as I said I think you have quality but is spread along the album and I do hear the potential but I just think is too much. Now you must understand something: there is music and music and different music should be listened in different ways and different purposes, maybe I had the wrong purpose.

And one more thing: acceptance or non-acceptance is part of ervery kind of music. You dont think you've made a masterpiece do you? At least I payed attention to the music, it didnt go unnoticed.

I won't, fil karada - this this final version.
It was meant to sound like that - I never wanted to go simple, sorry ;)

And yes, now both Jamendo links do work - you can try them if you like.

I've even got nice review of these so-called "annoying songs".

Man, almost all of the songs are annoying since you only have like 1 instrument per song but perhaps you could get ideas from all of them and make 1 or 2 good ones.

But they don't work. They only redirect me to the front page of Jamendo. Confused

Nevermind. I think I know why you haven't gotten any responses. Your download links suck. I tried downloading this thing two days ago and the download stopped halfway through it. I tried it again today and once again, the download failed after a time.

I just tried your other link, and it told me the capacaty was already exceeded before I even clicked on anything.

My don't you make a myspace band profile and upload your strongest track there, then give us a link to that?

Downloading the first one now. Is it all just drums and digital beeps, or are there other real instruments involved?

Hello

I'd like to give you something to listen to (and smash me in the result, I know).

Recently I was bored. I have no chance to play freely drums - because of lack of space for keeping them.

Instead I tried on my father's Roland XP-30. I tell you, the fun coming from making "Perplex" (that's the title) was great and normally I wouldn't do anything more with this stuff.

But was I crazy enough or the full moon rising came, no one can tell ;)

Yes, I started publishing this material over the Internet.

It's slightly different from normal music (sorry I'm trying to explain this to someone who already doesn't listen to house and pop cr*p, things like that, but someone who REALLY know, what music is), as I am no trained keyboardist (lost my interest in that instrument after few lessons when I was 10 - you can't be surprised I had other things on my mind back then) and features some strange sounds, but I really like it.

There are few people who liked it too, they were mostly suprised but not in minus. The most important thing is that I like it. It's like painting the picture only for my own pleasure. I'm showing this to other people just to see how they react.

There's some rhytm in it (drums for life :)), but also a great deal of electronics.

What was I thinking about while playing? The thing that occupied my mind were (in no particular order): progressive music, of course (I am a huge fan, just can't stand all those straight 4/4 patterns and stuff), some jazz maybe (like that too, especially Ken Vandermark), Angelo Badalamenti's "Mulholland Dr." and "Blue Velvet", Mr. Bungle, drums. I also tried to perform some of deconstructive-like music.

Well,here are the links:

I'm also releasing this over ED2K:

ed2k://|file|Perplex_-_Perplex_(2009).zip|76165794|0DC5CE353DA1751CC789EA1BD142F94E|/

Please let me know, what do you think. I know it's not perfectly what I intented do create, but believe me, that was recorded live, no rehearsals and stuff.

I also know that Perplex is kind of strange (I probably used this word too many times already, sorry :)), but I never wanted this to be radio hit. It's rather small project just to throw some thouths out of me.

Greetins and have fun

PS. Sorry if this is posted in wrong subforum, move it to some other place if you like.
