That's definitely the famous Moog Taurus sound...At 00:49 in that video, you can actually see him stepping on one...

Tony Banks didn't use synths until Selling England by the Pound, Easy Money is right when he mentions the Moog Taurus bass pedals.

 ^ yes it very well could simply be his bass pedals, I checked some of the songs you mention but my Genesis remasters mostly have the inadequate info the original LPs had

I haven't listened to those songs in a while, but when I saw them in concert about 75 the huge bass sound came Rutherford's Moog Taurus synth-bass pedals, they shook the building.
