I think the new episodes are toeing the line. For a show that's been on that long, and I'm amazed to see that it still hasn't gotten stale.
|
True! The last two seasons have been the best in the last 5 years!

Another great character was Troy McClure. A true star with some of the best movies ever... such as - “The Revenge of Abe Lincoln”
- “The Erotic Adventures of Hercules”
- “Meet Joe Blow”
- “Jagged Attraction”
- “The Electric Gigolo”
Sadly ever since Phil Hartman´s death in 1998 we have been deprived of his cameos...

Oh, Chief Wiggum!!! He is it! After Homer, the best character of the show! Always says the funniest, most stupid stuff...
Oh,
man, what a day. It's no cakewalk being a single parent, juggling a career and
family like so many juggling balls ... two, I suppose.
See
ya in court, Simpson. Oh, and bring that evidence with ya, otherwise, I got no
case and you'll go scot-free.
All
right, you scrawny beanpoles: becoming a cop is not something that happens
overnight. It takes one solid weekend of training to get that badge.
I
hope this has taught you kids a lesson: kids never learn.
Fat
Tony is a cancer on this fair city! He is the cancer and I am the ... uh ... what
cures cancer?
This
is Papa Bear. Put out an APB for a male suspect, driving a... car of some sort,
heading in the direction of, uh, you know, that place that sells chili. Suspect
is hatless. Repeat, hatless.

Ralph Wiggum needs to be the favorite. He can't be on screen without me laughing. Plus he had an awesome opium-induced dream in one of the episodes. I do think Martin should have been on this list only because he played Thick As A Brick as the credits started to roll in an episode within the past 5 years.

Some people find joy in knowledge. Some people find joy in ignorance. Some people just enjoy music.

It's a shame the classic Lionel Hutz and Troy MaClure are not included, but it's difficult to choose 25.

Troy McClure:
Hi. I'm Troy McClure, you might remember me from such driver's ed films as "Alice's Adventures through the Windshield Glass" and "The Decapitation of Larry Leadfoot."
Hi. I'm Troy McClure, you might remember me from such celebrity funerals as "Andre The Giant, We Hardly Knew Ye" and "Shemp Howard, Today We Mourn A Stooge."
