I thought they already reissued many of these albums on SPV Records over the last couple of years???

Not in re-mastered versions though.

Just visited the InsideOut site and it does state that those versions are remastered

Hi,

Not sure that I understand the need, yet again, for these reissues.
I'm sure that these couldn't possibly beat those remastered by EROC
that were released back in '02 on Repertoire. Nice to see the possibility of
a tour tho. Seemed better than I expected on a recent ('05) DVD and
the Wuppertal performance from April '03 seemed decent as well,
so there's hope!

"Burundi Drummer's Nightmare" is the outstanding track on "Meetings With Men Machines"; the rest is only so-so. but for that track alone the album is worth the money.
as to "Hawk Meets Penguin": I wrote a four star review of that album

Hummmmh! i just got the last 3 digipacks AD2..Almost, Only Human and Vortex.....from SPV...revisited!
It is mentioned in the liner noted that they have been remastered and remixed......
The sound is crystal clear!!

I am happily surprised by the overall musical quality of VORTEX....and great bonus tracks like on every AD2 re-release

I thought they already had been reissued very recently on Rhino?

and just for the record: Vive La Trance seems to be out of (chronological) order, it should have been placed between Wolf City (or, Live in London, for that matter, whose place is not so important being a live album recorded around the same time) and Hijack Smile. All albums I identified are otherwise placed chronologically!
AD II is a great band, btw Smile (especially up to & including Wolf City)

First off Cds that gave me a chuckle , um there Vinyl albums
the first two are
Minneleid  by Amon Duul and Phallus Dei  Amon Duul 2
the very last one is  Hawk Meets Penguin  and the last on fifth row is Meetings with Menmachines inglorious heroes of the past

Listen to Turkish psych/prog; you won't regret:
Baris Manco,Erkin Koray,Cem Karaca,Mogollar,3 Hürel,Selda,Edip Akbayram,Fikret Kizilok,Ersen (and Dadaslar) (but stick with the '70's, and 'early 80's!)
