Topic: Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush: Review and Pics Posted: August 03 2008 at 00:44 |
Well I wanted to go to King Crimson @ a NYC date, but he passed it up to get those tickets. I refused to go considering I was angry about not seeing KC.

I to have seen lotts bands back in the day as you would say (first ever gig Floyd Knebworth 1975) what i saw and heard the other week was beyond boring , his solos were really not that very good the band were really rather poor to, there were no real tunes as such just one boring and badly played solo after another , as to this thing he did at the end thought it was never going end just making noise with his guitar trying make sound like bombs going off and stuff but just wasn't working, me and the wife had enough and left and we were not the only ones who left, there was more people in or heading for the bars than watching him masturbate all over his Guitar BORI|NG !!!! Now Taj Mahal the day before he was well worth seeing brilliant stuff ,

^ That's odd, my dad saw him recently and said it was one of the best shows he's seen in his life, and he's seen some great bands back in the day.

I saw
Frank Marino at the Windsor Blues Fest a few weeks ago i have never seen such self indulgent rubbish in all life , one endless boring guitar solos after another, not one good tune or song amongst them i have seen and heard better guitar players play in Local pubs in England, to mention him in the same breath as Hendrix is a joke
