i will try to insult ELP less, since that is probably what turns you into a bad boy in the first place! The barbarian is damn good, i listen to it quite a pit, i jus love that distortion tone. Kinda similar to the distortion on Red and ITCHYCOCK which i just love!

Frenchie

Try to get int the instruments of the time etc...You'll understand more.I do deal with reproduction gear & instrument of the time, which i suppose is a great help on my behalf

in english?

You cannot reproduce a mellotron sound accuratly these day as it consisted of a pre-recorded sound over each key note of a 3/8" tape...you press the key & a tape ran over a head play back, like a tape recorder, the musicaian could sustain the key for aroud 8 seconds til it re-wound..

Frenchie your deaing with Hammond & mellotron of the time reconded on analog gear, these days it probably simulated anoulogue gear regorded through digital gear..whole lot of difference as well as absolutly no direction in music these days.
