Judging from what you've all written, I think it would be good to leave this thread in (and not change the title), because its got very funnyLOL - although I think a couple of the above should be deleted for inappropriate contentConfused - the American/ British confusions can be alarming sometimes (I leave that for someone else to explain!!) - may get some senior members then!!!!

Wow ! I`ve been on the site since the beginning and I still haven`t figured out how to post pictures. I guess it doesn`t help when your computer is from the mid- sixteenth century. I`m still living in the past myself. I`m listening to Songs From The Wood right now with old Duke at my feet.

What's happened to my thread - it seems to have gone below the belt!

Anyway - I seem to have been uprated to Senior Member now - having cleared 100 posts (they weren't all pointless - honest!)

I'm surprised it was only 100 (thought it would be a lot more than that, but I'm not knocking it).  I guess some of you are thinking - what? HE doesn't deserve that....

Thanks for all your help from you chaps above.

Trouble this - this thread doesn't make any sense now, because I note that on all my posts I have been uprated to Senior member.  I mean - eh?  Why is this senior guy moaning about being a "Noobie?"

^ that's the way Wink

Incidentally - you should NEVER change someone else's wording (unless you make it obvious and it's for comedic effect) - the purpose of quoting is to carry-on a discourse in a thread that has multiple discussions going-on, or to single-out specific points to comment upon. Changing what people have written to make them look bad or stupid or to alter the meanig will be dealt with swiftly and punitively. Stern%20Smile

Thanks Dean - you've come up trumps again!

don't delete all the extra text (all the stuff in square brackets is needed!)

it should look like this, but with [ ] instead of ( )

(QUOTE=PinkPangolin) (QUOTE=darqDean)

Thanks Dean - you've come up turnips again!

...whatever is between QUOTE & /QUOTE is the quoted text - your relpy goes outside that.

You just hit the [Quote PinkPangolin Quote] button at the top of the post and edit away. The forum is driven by BBcode, (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BBCode), so if you want to split up a quote you have to insert your own code to to that
