They sure do. A nice mixture of styles, sometimes close to background music, sometimes deliberately on the foreground. I hear a lot of jazz and rock influences - and some interesting guitar work on e.g. Lourna. Worth checking by all our fusion lovers.
From what I can deduct from their MySpace page, this looks like a loosely coupled group of musicians circling a fixed core of three (bass, drums, keyboards) - a bit similar to the random gang that created the Nuit Câline à la Villa mon Rêve album listed on this site. New Mother Old Dust is my kind of fusion - pulsing bass, wild keyboards and steady drums. Very well done! Thanks for pointing this out, Assaf! Hope they get a deal some time soon. |

At the moment they don't have any cd out... Anyway, they definitely deserve our attention!

Prog/fusion/avant band from Bologna, Italy http://www.myspace.com/almaensembleNot sure if it's right to put them in Unsigned, but I think they don't have an official release yet, though I may be wrong. (they are unsigned, though).
Pretty good progressive rock here, varied and talented bunch.
