Got the Downward spiral and The Fragile, love em pretty much the same but the fargile is a double and got more music so it gets my vote. Since i prefer much music for my money. And it was the last one i bought so i think its still growing on me and might end up as my favorite.

Pretty Hate Machine. Lost my virginity to that album.

No one for the Fragile????
Well count me in for that one. A damn near perfect work. It's brilliantly written with great songs and recurring musical themes, and a handful of innovation. Awesome record.
Downward Spiral and Year Zero are excellent, too... and I would recommend the live CD 'And All that Could Have Been'.
Also both concert DVDs are excellent.
that is all.

Year Zero is, in my opinion, teh music of the future. Firstly it was recorded on his laptop and secondly, if till then each sound could have been compared to the one produced by an instrument, Year Zero is totally chaotic from this point view. The entire record sounds like a short-circuited cd player. It's interesting though, but i'm not very fond of it

Downward Spiral (and Further Down The Spiral) - such a powerfully intense album, I find it so draining that I feel like I need a lie down in a dark room after just to recover - so few albums/artists can affect me like that, I'd have to rate Trent Reznor alongside Peter Hammill and John Cale as being such emotional masters of their craft.

Gotta go with my first, the Downward Spiral, though I do enjoy them all. Year Zero is quite impressive, though Trent 's using almost no profanity. Is he losing his touch or something?

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

Nine Inch Nails, a very popular industrial rock group, must have few fans on a prog forum in spite not being prog. I wish to know your opinions regarding NIN and don't forget to vote your favourite album
