Manuel Miranda - live, Feb 1 (Peru)

Flutist/saxophonist/ethnic wind player Manuel Miranda, one of the top names in current Peruvian fusion music, will perform on January, 1^st of 2008, the first of a series of gigs to promote his recently released “Brujos voladores” album. This is a very powerful album, let me tell you, tracing a refreshing proposal of the word “fusion”, an eclectic album that includes recognizable elements of prog rock, electronica, new-age and spacey atmospheres, all of them ordained to enrich and refurbish the old ancient Pre-Columbine Peru’s sounds and the eerie magic of modern jazz-fusion.
