whos the best? you can move me, I know its not
prog!

I was backstage on Sunday during Eric Clapton's
Crossroads Guitar Festival Weekend at the Cotton
Bowl in Dallas, Tx in June 2004.

No doubt the best there was Jeff Beck and Buddy
Guy. Jeff only played "Because We Ended As
Lovers", Eric played the lead parts. Buddy did a sit in
with BB King, Clapton, and Jimmy Vaughan for about
30-40 minutes, Buddy started a song and said bye
because Santana was ready at 8pm, so he just
toyed with us like Jeff. Neal started things about
10am and ZZTop had to leave the stage about
midnight due to electical storms.

The old man could remember "THE DAY" and slept
well that night!

The bands/artist that played were:
Vishwa Mohan Bhatt
Booker T & the MGs
Doyle Bramhall II
JJ Cale
Larry Carlton
Robert Cray Band
Bo Diddley
Jerry Douglas
Vince Gill
David Hildalgo
Eric Johnson
BB King
Sonny Landreth
Pat Metheny
John Meyer
Robert Randolph
Carlos Santana
Neal Schon
Hubert Sumlin
James Taylor
Dan Tyminski
Steve Vai
Jimmy Vaughan
Joe Walsh
Jeff Baxter
George Lynch
Yngwie Malmsteen
Tommy Shaw
ZZ Top
and many, many others

the question..........
who is the best of them all
JEFF BECK  or
BUDDY GUY!
