That's easy, Dude, 'at the mountains of madness' or 'the call of Cthulu' - this guy could write horror (I quite like the fact he apparently died in an asylum, too - seems fitting)

bah, of course it takes a few weekends to get used to all the intricacies of the game, but nonetheless it is a really cool game. It also helps if your DM has a completely outgoing (and slightly insane) personality.

A friend of mine really digs it, D&D. Always telling about it (and most of the time I don't get it)

Jeeeeeeeeez.......
D&D
There's an abreviation I've not seen for a while - yes, I was into AD&D in the'80s, together with 'Call Of C'thulu', 'Paranoia', 'Warhammer' and that most cerebral of games, 'Buckaroo'
Many's the evening I spent with a group of similarly inebriated long-hairs, chasing orcs, skaven etc, or dodging the evil attentions of Nyarlathotep - all without leaving the stinky room we inhabited for these games.
Aaaaaaahhhhhhh...... Memories.

Seeing as this is a Prog forum, it is only a fair assumption that some of you have played Dungeons & Dragons at some point in your life. I just joined a group last week, and I think the game is simply amazing. Who else is in D&D, and if you are, do you have any interesting tales about your adventures?
