As you can tell from the number of "Welcome" type replies, you'll find PA a very warm and fuzzy place
just don't bring up Dream Theater though

Welcome here!
You are the second person from Bangalore to join this week. Bass player Gourav of Phenom (band from Bangalore) joined earlier. Edited by Angelo - December 28 2007 at 04:44 |

Hello everyone,
I have been a regular visitor on progarchives and recently became a member. The site has really helped me understand the nuances of prog and info on so many different artists from around the world. It is very difficult to find true prog lovers in India and thus learning and discussion is a problem. In bangalore there is a rock pub in every street and yet people find it difficult to seperate quality from mediocrity, largely due to commerical strategies of PUBs.
I learnt about artists like Porcupine Tree, Sigur Ros, PMF and so many more from progarchives and I keep spreading the word about good music among my fraternity.
I have just started reviewing recently and will continue to add value to progarchives by sharing the knowledge I have and gain. Cheers!
