M: Eine Stadt sucht einen Mörder? I always thought the name was M von Mörder. When I had to see the movie I got very confused, for some reason the translation in spanish is M el vampiro (M: the Vampire)... until the last second I was looking for a vampire, what a stupid translation!

Reasently I had to give an oral exam about a genre, an era or a filmaker of my choive between the beginings of cinema and the ´60. I chose Orson Welles, so I had to watch pretty much all of his movies (I did however not watch Chimes at midnight). What do you think of the rest of his filmography? Personally I like The Trial quite a lot, and think his version of Othelo was quite good, but nothing compares to Citizane Kane... I sound like a broken record, but its true...

I have yet to watch more Kurosawa, but what I have seen, the 7 samurais and that one about a doctor that breaks half the towns arms jejeje, did not impress me. But japanese cinema rarely impresses me, I find it... well, funny, I cant take them seriously. I know its a diferent kind of movie making, but ...its just not for me.

Godard is a filmaker I want to get into, for the Nouvelle Vague is quite interesting, at least in paper. Breathless is very good, but Made in USA I found terribly boring, any sugestion? Apart from Week end?

Excellent movies you have there!!! ...maybe Chasing Amy is not of my personaly taste, but then again Smith is not one of my favorite directors.
