Working on it.
Chris, could you PM me a picture/scan of these liner notes? I don't have the album myself and the library's closed already... Edited by Angelo - December 08 2007 at 09:42 |

I'm not sure how well that would work, but would certainly give it a try. |

Yeah it's hard to find, doubt anybody else will ever spot it. But no, he's not there.
Would be cool if he was, eh?

I rechecked my copy and no mention of Eric Clapton. I have the Japanese mini LP CD version no Eric in the notes of the Japanese insert either. Just as I wrote that I rechecked and I do see on the inside of the gatefold where it says Eric and "Clapton" has been scratched out, but it's credits for chorus. I'm suspecting that wasn't really serious. |

It really is a clever misconception. In the linear notes Clapton's name is written down as a musician but he really has no signifacant presence on the album, if any at all. Most of the guitar pieces were originally played by the late studio guitarist Tommy Tedesco.
That help?

I am listening to this and notice on the site that Eric Clapton is credited with being one of the guitarists, but my copy has all the other guys credited but no Clapton. Is that an error or was he some sort of mystery guest?
