I purchased the Sennheiser HD 515 a month ago ... not bad at all, but unfortunately it's a little bit "tinny" in the high mid range. I guess I'll have to find a way to get rid of it and go for HD 555 instead ... the 600/650 are definitely too pricey for me.

I use Sennheiser HDR 120s - very cheap, and suffer a little from wireless noise - but great sound.

Nice set up as ever Oliver, but I can live with my Sennnheiser HD 205 for home use just fine - connected to my hifi set or to the Alesis IO2 USB interface (for guitar, microphone and head phones) on my laptop. Big%20smile

As i told you, go for the EH350.

You'll find all you need on this good headphone's website/shop, http://www.headphone.com/,
you can trust their reviews and these kind of combos (318 $ including an entry level portable micro headphone's amp) will do wonders on your Ipods, young people!

I can't resist to describe my current portable setup:

Source : Sony WM D6 vintage professional portable cassette deck

Modulation cable : Cardas mini to mini cable

Portable headphone's amp : Headroom micro amp (class A)

Headphone's cable: Stefan audio art Equinox

Headphones: Sennnheiser HD 600 & 650 (i cant' choose)!

Well, i pack all that in a suited bag, and i can listen to sweet music in the meadows!

I'm thinking about buyinjg a pair of headphones for home use and I don't know much about the subject, if anyone can answer any of my questions, it would be of great use to me

Are wireless headphones, such as the sennheiser rs-65, any good? are the sennheiser hd-515 as good as a friend tells me? what about the hd 447?

is behringer a good brand?  are the hps 5000 worth it?

is samson a good brand? are the samson rh600 good? what about the rh100? is there a real diffrence between them?

is a cheaper alternative like the hd 202, not in the same quality range as the ones mentioned earlier?

between this models, and disregarding the price, which would you choose?

thanks for answering, and if anyone could tell me witha  certain degree of security which of the afore mentioned is the best, i'd be eternally thankful Wink
