Referring to Moogtron's list above, I don't think the Alan Marshall who played sax with Sun Ra is the singer you are looking for. I would be really suprised if it is, so let me know.

Hi there
thanks for your help. I managed to find a web site for Zzebra with a picture of the band and I recognised Alan Marshall. It also gives biographies for the band and, apparently, he had also earlier played with Pete Bardens.
Now all I have to do is locate the albums.
Thanks again
Greg

By the way, there are 3 entries for Alan Marshall on Allmusic: some other albums are mentioned also, but I don't know if it's the same guy all the time.

hi there
I have been a fan of Yes since the early 70s. At one point the all went solo and i had most of the solo albums, including the the one by alan White called Ramshackled. Although this album was a dramatic departure from the YES sound, it appealed to my very eclectic tastes. i have recently re-acquired it and it is still an outstanding collection of songs. I remember reading in the NME some time after this that Alan Marshall, the lead singer with Alan whites Band, had gone on to record with another band and I am trying to locate any music by Alan Marshall. Does anybody out there have any information on this guy?
