Let's see... I have:
- Symphonic Prog
- Canterbury Scene
- Crossover Prog
- Eclectic Prog
- Experimental/Post-Metal
- Indo Prog/Raga-Rock
- Jazz-rock/Fusion
- Heavy Prog (Only on Vinyl, but still )
- Krautrock
- Prog Folk
- Electronic Prog
- Progressive Metal
- Psychedelic/Space Rock
- RIO/Avant Prog
- Tech/Extreme Prog Metal
- Prog Related
- Proto Prog
Which means that i'm missing: Experimental/Post-rock, Italian Symphonic Prog, Neo Progressive, Zeuhl, Various.
That's 6 genres. Still pretty impressive for a collection of only 140-150 CD's!

Perhaps The Ozric Tentacles should be tagged as Raga as a lot of

that plays Ragu. |
she told me it was a really good album... and I do love Popol Vuh's
explorations into that area of music. I probably would enjoy it..
just never made it there..

I'm missing five if we don't count Various and count Hot Rats and Grand Wazoo as Jazz-rock (which is what they are). I'm going to fix that somewhat soon, though, because I want to get Rock Bottom and Diablo Swing Orchestra (or Unexpect). And some day I'll get an Italian album. Which would then leave me only missing Neo and Raga, which I can live with.
Although due to my relatively small collection (that is overly dominated by Floyd from my early days--I don't have the heart to resell them though) and lack of interest in some genres, for some I only have one album (like prog metal).

Same! I had listened to this album in digital form, and when I was in Oslo(to see Dream Theater and Symphony X ), I stumbled over it in a jazz record store. I was absolutely thrilled, as it's one of the best discoveries I've made during the last months!
Also, I get bragging rights for having an album of a genre(indo-prog/raga-rock) that the (and I'm kind of guessing here) fewest PA members listen to.
Obscurity creds for me!

there are a couple i don't have anything from, but i'd like to expand my collection to include those. my favourite genres are prog metal, experimental/post, symphonic, heavy (pretty much all of what used to be art rock), and prog folk

I have: Prog Metal Psychedelic/Space Rock Experimental/Post-Rock Crossover Prog Symphonic Prog Jazz Rock/Fusion Progressive Electronic Prog Folk
So I'm missing a few (need some Italian Symphonic, Eclectic, and RIO) but I've got a fair amount. I missing 8 to be exact.
(I didn't count Prog Related, which I do have, same with Proto Prog)

Taking collection to mean hard copies, I'm missing albums from 5 sub-genres. Indo-Prog/Raga Rock, Jazz Rock/Fusion, Krautrock, Progressive Electronic and Zeuhl. Otherwise I'm missing albums from 2, Indo-Prog/Raga Rock and Zeuhl.
