Awakening in "Clash of the Coverbands", Sat 29-09

   Hi all,
In july progressive rock coverband Awakening from Didam, NL won the jury's firest prize in the first round of the national coverband competition "Dommelsch Clash of the Coverbands".
A competition where all sorts of coverbands compete to win performances in Paradiso, Amsterdam, a single recording and TV and DVD appearances as well as making a big name for themselves of course!
This saturday September 29th we will play in the next round to qualify for the regional finals.
A jury of people from the business will decide who will proceed. In addition one band chosen by the audience will qualify. The concert will take place at "'t Pakhuus" in Silvolde, NL. Show starts 20.00.
We will be playing against:
Acrobat: U2 tribute
Brothers in Arms: pop/rock
Albert Kennedy: MUSE and Radiohead
So that's four bands on one night..each band gets to play for half an hour
Our set list will be:
Awakening - Jefferson Starship
The Great Escape - Marillion
Surrounded - Dream Theater

Subterranea - IQ
Hocus Pocus - Focus
Tower - Angel
Of course, we could use all the support we can get! So if you like prog, and maybe some alternative rock... :S we hope to see you there
