There's a strange thing when you use the search function to search for the trio (or for one of the guitarists, like I did by searching for McLaughlin)

It comes up with the title "McLaughlin and De Lucia Di Meola".

Wacko

Happily, things are unchanged if you search by letter: Di Meola, McLaughlin and Lucia (under the letter D)

De Lucia is like Di Meola and Mc Laughlin...
Sorry, I've seen solo mentioning of Lucia, Paco De. Confused

De or Di in Latin countries is the equivalent of Mc, O', Von or Van in other countries...
okay then. de Lucia. Thumbs%20Up

Actually, "De" = "From / Of". For exmaple, I could very well be "Čuncuna de Lucía", wich means that I'm "Čaterpillar from Lucía / of Lucía". I think it says somthing about your plce of origin or the family you belong to or both. ¿Anyone from Spain? they should know. One thing is for sure; "de Lucía" is the whole last name.

Even since Island records issued a catalogue of the artist's first name rather than surname back in 1970, I've wondered how daft people can beCry. Then a record shop opened locally with all its artists sectioned that way - J was the bigger section (all those John'sSmileSmileSmile).  I once complained about the difficulties this created trying to find something,  to be told the owner had decided on it - I glad when another customer nearby chipped in and said what a bloody stupid system it wasClapClap!

We've been this way before with Jan  Hammer/Jerry Goodman's Like Children - I added and reviewed the album under Hammer, only to discover some months later the same album was being dealt with separately under Goodman. Since these various  guitar trios don't have fixed personnel, (McLaughlin Coryell, DeLucia/ McLaughlin, Dimeola, DeLucia - and did I see that there was a DVD with DiMeola, DeLucia, Lagrene released recently),  then surely there are two commonsense things to do:
1. Add the CD or DVD to at least one of the player's surnames listed in PA
2. Pray that PA has the wisdom to make multi-links to the album/DVD and its associated reviews, which ever artist name you look up.

There's no doubt about it...

For instance, in the album Paco De Lucia plays Manuel De Falla, there's Pepe De Lucia (his brother) on vocals in one track...

However, wonderful music...

^Angelo don't you mean a suit?

A suite is a type of hotel room.
