There are tons of CD's I can't find in recordstores, but are easy to order via the internet. The only one I can't get my hands on (nobody seems to can these days) is Hybris.

Kultivator's album Barndomens Stigar seemed impossible to find, but suddenly I stumbled upon a copy of it. ConfusedBig%20smile

An album that actually is quite impossible to get hold of is Kvartetten Som Sprängde's only album Kattvals from 1973. I don't think there were many copies made, and it hasn't been reissued.

Several years ago I managed to buy them in a small independent cd shop. Moreover, my copy of Sophisticated is labelled on the disc itself as promotional copy. Try your luck in similar places, in larger cities. Check the used CD bins as well.
BTW, do not regret, they are not near as good as Sense of Change or as they are rated here.

I'm not sure if you were aware, but Zweitstein's Trip, Flip Out Medition saw CD reissue for the first time this year. albeit, the price is still very expensive [$95 from CD Baby], but still not $1000 you will pay for the vinyl. It comes in a triple disc set with a few bonus tracks. They stock it at my local shop and they have done a really nice job at replicating the original artwork.

Anglagard - Hybris (OOP)
Anglagard - Epilog (OOP)
Hoyry-kone - Hyontesia voi Rakastaa
Hoyry-kone - Huono parturi
Taal - Mister Green (OOP, as is Skymind... although Skymind is due for a re-release soon)
Cartoon - Cartoon (vinyl only, although the CD Sortie has the whole album on it)
Cartoon - Music from Left Field (vinyl only, although the CD Sortie has the whole album on it, minus one track)
Ensemble Nimbus - Key Figures (OOP as are all of their albums, I believe, but the latter are still found)
Dun - Eros (now OOP)
Weidorje - Weirdorje (now OOP)
Zypressen - Zypressen (ReR Megacorps list it, but they are having problems finding it)
OOIOO - OOIOO (Japanese only release, Thrill Jockey only released their later albums to a World market)
Naikaku - Naikaku (Japanese only release)
Nuit Caline a la Villa Mon Reve - Juillet 77 (vinyl only French release)
Julverne - Colloneux (not sure of availability, but cannot seem to find it)
Julverne - A Neuf (same as above)
Shub-Niggurath - Les Morts Vont Vites (vinyl only; impossible to find)
Shub-Niggurath - Shub-Niggurath (cassette only, I believe; even more impossible to find)
Art Zoyd - Symphonie Pour Le Jour Où Brûleront Les Cités (original vinyl version, not the remake)
Art Zoyd - Symphonie Pour Le Jour Où Brûleront Les Cités/Musique Pour L'Odyssée/Génération Sans Futur/Archives I (on CD, not sure of availability)
Art Zoyd - Les Espaces Inquiets/Phase IV/Archives II (on CD, not sure of availability)
Koenjihyakkei - Hundred Sight of Koenji
Koenjihyakkei - Nivraym
Koenjihyakkei - Angherr Shisspa (it's around, but I've yet to find one at a reasonable price)
Almost all Ruins albums

Plus lots more...

Raffaella - Greg Walker has the Swedish release of Vemod and the Japanese Arcangelo import version available (has a bonus track).  I'm sure Micky can track it down for you.

Also, Anekdoten, when I last looked, had an online store on their website (in Euros, obviously).  Vemod is reasonably easy to find.

something tells me that progod must've thought Anglagard was just too good, so he came down and made all of their albums disappear into thin air.

Thanks. It was abundantly available here when I was more interested in their 70s stuff. When I decided to buy it, it had suddenly disappeared from the stores in this godforsaken pathetic excuse for a country.

^On the subject of Rush, 'Power Windows' and 'Hold Your Fire' have seemingly been unaccountably deleted in the UK. Their other albums are all in print, AFAIK. Very odd.Confused

For some reason, I suddenly can't find 'Moving Pictures' in any of the local CD stores now that I've finally decided to buy it on CD.

The 3 UK albums (UK, Danger Money and the live one Night After Night) are due for reissue soon AFAIK, with extra tracks, so it's probably worth the wait.

I too have never encountered any of Anglagard's albums, unfortunately.

Lately I've been picking up lots of Van Morrison CDs fairly cheaply- almost all of his back catalogue seems to have been deleted and they are now going for increased prices on various websites; E-Bay/Amazon and the like.

I don't really use the internet either; there's hardly anything that I've not been able to find eventually via CD stores/second hand record shops.

Try amazon.uk or amazon.de; you can usually find them there.
