What, the whole 28 seconds of it? |
I must be confusing it with another song then...

No, I think it was "Even Less" that I'm thinking of...which album is that from?

If he would ever remaster Lightbulb Sun, maybe I could listen to it and vote! In Abstentia should win the whole enchilada.

Maybe "Piano Lessons"? I remember piano lessons The hours in freezing rooms Cruel ears and tiny hands Destroying timeless tunes She said there's too much out there Too much already said You'd better give up hoping You're better off in bed You don't need much to speak of No class, no wit, no soul Forget you own agenda Get ready to be sold I feel now like Christine Keeler Sleepwaking in the rain I didn't mean to lose direction I didn't want that kind of fame (Take your hands off my land) Credit me with some intelligence (if not just credit me) I come in value packs of ten (in five varieties) And even though I got it all now My only stupid dream I see you and me together And how it should have been I remember piano lessons Now everything seems clear You waiting under streetlights For dreams to disappear

'In Absentia'. Haven't heard the other two. Although I've heard the song Stupid Dream, which I like.

I can't understand why some people voted FoabP out !
Seems we all like PT, we just don't like the same things about them ! |
Just a matter of taste I think... |
You're right. And it's fun that some of us can exchange on our tastes and still be respectful even when we don't agree.

Lightbulb Sun beats Stupid Dream for one reason: Pure Narcotic. My 15 year old is totally getting into that tune and learning it on guitar. But it also happens to be an excellent tune with me. How do you think he ever heard it?
BTW...he is having trouble figuring out the song and guitar tabs don't quite seems to sound correct. Anyone have their own take on the chords? |
Dude, Pure Narcotic is from Stupid Dream... Great song, nevertheless. |
I stand corrected. And I voted incorrectly. Ugh!
Looks like it doesn't stand a chance anyway.

Edit: No I did vote correctly. I want Stupid Dream to stay.
D'oh!!!!
