It seems to me that the band was signed briefly, but now is not? I guess that counts.
'Retro Sample 1' blew me away. It's very powerful, and I love the harmonies. The style reminds me a little of Glass Hammer, even though it's much less tinkly. 'Retro Sample 2' reminded me of Yes right away... kind of like what I'd picture them sounding like if they went heavy! I wasn't crazy about the organ in 'Human Mind', I thought it sounded a little too forced. I did like the songwriting, though... And i wasn't as fond of the singing here. I should probably actually leave these comments on their myspace, though, because it looks like it wasn't one of the band members who posted this. EDIT: Ah I see, it looks like this thread was moved from somewhere else... now I think I get it why some of the comments were said. Edited by StarsongAgeless - May 22 2007 at 03:14 |

The music sounds great. Come play in California and I'll buy you a beer or three.

maybe this forum needs a section allocated to this kind of caper "unknown bands wanting to get the word out" if it hasn't already covered it .. but posting here isn`t the correct way to do things , I think

Or maybe I just thought It was a band that deserved to be listened to, because they sound pretty good and aren't very popular.
Im not in any band, in fact im pretty much a guitar noob. I've only been playing for a year.

These are starting to get out of hand; it seems like every couple of days, another band member makes an account, starts a topic about how awesome his band is, and is never seen again.

They sent us a message to review one of their songs on our myspace too. They said they got to us through Dream Theater's myspace, but that has got thousands of friends, so I wonder whether they sent the same message to all of the friend list, and how.
Anyway I gave them my view of the song. Not bad at all, though a bit too power prog for me.

There called Silent Memorial and they sound pretty cool. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=138066009
Thats there myspace, listen to Human Mind. The one part at the beginning sounds just like part of "Caught in a Web" by Dream Theater.
