I have had both of his solo albums at some stage- both were, as I recall, heavy rock albums and certainly not prog ones. On his DVD of a while back he only played one track which was from his solo albums- 'I Love You Too Much' which had a co-credit with Bob Dylan, I believe. However, it was a generic blues rock plod which I felt was the weakest song of the set...

I preferred his second solo album 'Manouvres'. It had some interesting musicians on it! He did play one song from it on his last tour, a rocker he co-wrote with Bob Dylan!

Where is it?  I got to thinking about that tour poster I saw, with all these Crimson/ELP songs on it, but I didn't see any songs that were "Greg Lake" songs, as opposed to "songs Greg Lake has had some part in" (like Heat Of The Moment, for one night only).

I notice that he has two solo albums of original material...  but he doesn't seem to play it live, at least not on the recent tours.  Perhaps the gig singing Karn Evil 9 with Ringo Starr was more appealing?

Please give me some insight on his solo career, if there is any to be had.  Smile
