Well, a well-working sub with a 38cm diameter woofer makes extreme low frequencies, which mean an intense physical experience, indeed.

What an amazing system! When go to live alone I'll buy a great hi-fi of that style.
Also, that 75kg subwoffer may be one of those which hit your chest, am I right? |

I don't own any turntable yet, indeed.
Your second question is hard to answer. Both vinyl and tape are analog. A big tapedeck like a Nakamichi 1000 zxl is an excellent source, and there are many fantastic turntables as well. Edited by oliverstoned - March 12 2007 at 03:49 |

Forgive my newness to the subject. So, you can only play tape and CD on that, no vinyl? I thought that vinyl was higher quality than tapes, is that true? |

Good play on word Yes, the more weight you put on the subwoofer, the tighter the low. He's on a 1KW filter and alone on a dedicated line in 4mm2. And yes, the neighbourhood may suffer!! Edited by oliverstoned - March 05 2007 at 14:15 |

Compare the two, i hope you didn't sell back the Linn? There's also "Pink triangle", an english brand which is Linn's competitor. |

I don't have it yet. These are the Mission 32i, ultra budget speaker. I have so much things to buy. But it's on my priority list, along with great power cables and the Sony WD-m6, the best walkman ever. I need it for the summer. |
