If an Admin could close this one (since I messed it up and made a new one) that would be helpful.

Undoubtly Hemispheres for me, with pieces like Cygnus X-1 Book II and La Villa Stangiato Followed by 2112...

Okay I redid the poll so it works out properly (to make it a tournament like I want to)

Hmm I kind of screwed this up. It should have been least proggy so we could vote until we finally vote on which is the most proggy album instead of voting on which is the least proggy album. I'll make a new poll to hopefully fix this.

I think you coulda cut this to 4 album choices and been totally safe. I gotta vote for Hemispheres. Mostly because the title track is the most grand in both musical scope and plot. Plus there is a song about trees... come on. Caress of Steel comes close for me as does A farewell to Kings.

well, for the first four minutes it was. after that it becomes a series of fairly conventional songs with good lyrics. I voted for Hemispheres due to the complexity of the title track.

2112 was awfully proggy, IMO

I'll start off by voting for Hemispheres. It has the 18 minute long track, a great instrumental, and two great shorter tracks.

This is similar to the other studio album elimination tourneys but this is on which Rush album you think is the most progressive. Just to see what people think of Rush and being progressive.
This will close Monday February 26th at 1:00pm London time or 8:00 am EST |
