Felona e Sorona was an album by the Italian band Le Orme (you all knew that!). Charisma (Hammill's label, as well as Genesis' and Van der Graaf's) decided to put it out in Britain with English lyrics. Hammill interpreted the original Italian lyrics. I assume the music is the same on both versions, with English lyrics on the Charisma version. Hammill didn't sing on it; the Orme singer just re-recorded the vocals in English.

The same thing happened with Pete Sinfield and PFM. The original Italian versions were sung in Italian. For the British/American market, Sinfield wrote English lyrics which were sung by the PFM guys.

He translated lyrics for an Italian band and also for German singer Herbert Grönemeyer. I can look up which Italian band and album it was, if you are interested.

I know he did an English translation, but what/where is it?  Is it an album, a book, or what?  I have searched everywhere and found nothing but that Hamill did an english version with van Der Graaf.
