Topic: Laptop users! Posted: February 16 2007 at 04:13 |
Mine doesn't get off the desk much these days....... it occaisionally wanders over to the table....... but thats about it.
When it was new and shiny I could have it on my lap on the sofa and work like that in the evenings....... but it's rather decrepit now. I have to prop it up on books to stop it over heating even on the desk........ maybe it could use a service.........but handing it over to the PC nerd scares me!!!

Mine's effectively a desktop except that it moves from desk to desk occasionally.

I use it in my room, and it's on a desk. If i took it off though, the screen would be falling all over the place as the hinge is broken(FOR THE THIRD TIME THIS YEAR ). I hate this piece of sh*t. 902 mb free space, too. Amazing.

I'm usually on my bed with a laptop. I feel more at home sitting on my bed than anywhere else in the house.

Since I'm at college right now, I use a desk, but I'll use either a desk or a table when I'm home.

My laptop is my only computer, so it is on my desk most of the time.

My laptop is on a table in the living room, surrounded by the books I am using to write my PhD dissertation. In the last few months I've taken to eating when sitting behind it, so the keyboard is all messed up with crumbs and other such things.

in bed, but using it as a desk....(??) When I get online at nights, I'm on my old, refurbished laptop...the rest of the day, on the desktop.

I tend to use mine on a desk, but I'm always worried it's going to take off the amount of air the fans kick out underneath it is mind boggling

On my dining room table. Only problem is one of our cats keeps jumping on the table and sitting on the keyboard while I'm working.

on my desk in my room - it's a lot more comfortable - and it doesn't get too hot!
