About the track times issue, VBR mp3 files sometimes get their track
times messed up, often showing as much longer than they actually are.
That could be why your times differ from the listed times.

Especially for Snow Dog
Today I received a reply from Günter Werno, the keyboard player from VANDEN PLAS. Here it is:
"Hi Fitzcarraldo,
the correct writing is: Wish you where here. This means that Christ0 wishes someone else in his desperate situation and place and at the same time he does not really know where he is. So he is asking where am I exactly. Thanks for letting us know that the writings on the album and websites are different, we will inform the webmasters asap.
Best regards, Günter Werno, Vanden Plas"
So there you have it. The band has titled the third track of "Christ 0" 'Wish You Where Here'.

Don't be so hasty, Snow Dog! As the various references contradict each other, I've sent an e-mail to the band asking them for clarification. Let's see what they say (if they reply, that is!). (I'm curious, that's all.) |

Very bizarre though, because the Web site of their record label INSIDEOUT shows the track name as 'Wish You Were Here':
Track listing on INSIDEOUT Web site and so does the track listing on the group's own official Web site: VANDEN PLAS Web site Seems more like a cock-up by the person who typeset the CD cover. |

I tagged the songs on Musicbrainz tagger, and it says that the band was asked for the correct spellin, and it was confirmed as "where". Also in the Vanden plas forum all the fans refer to it as where. It actually says "Wish You Where Here is not a typo (confirmed by band)" Edited by Snow Dog - January 01 2007 at 08:24 |

There is no denying the "where" on that album cover but I believe it is an error, perhaps caused by imperfect knowledge of the English language .... here is an excerpt from the song's lyrics [on www.lyricsandsongs.com] ....
"I wish you where here I wish you well and that you're burning Here in hell instead of me" The context is clearly "wish you were here" otherwise it makes no sense. |

My copy fits with the PA times. Do you have a live album/bootleg?

Snow Dog,
According to the group's official Web site, the title of Track 3 is 'Wish You Were Here', which is what is currently on the album's page in the Archives. VANDEN PLAS - "Christ 0" |

In fact, looking again, all the track times are wrong.
